Public Relations

The Shediac Rotary Club is involved in a host of fund-raising activities contributing close to $100,000 every year to the local and international community.  Click here to view winners of the recent Dream Vacation fundraiser campaign.

Below are some recent contributions to our community:


Le Club Rotary de shediac ont presenté 10 bourses à des étudiants et étudiantes de la région de
SHEDIAC

Des bourses totalisant $5000.00.- du CLUB ROTARY DE SHEDIAC -ont été octroyées à 10 étudiants diplômés de l’école Louis-J-Robichaud qui poursuivent leurs études pour l’année 2008-2009.

Les récipiendaires sont :Nicole Leger,Celeste Vautour,Marielle O’brien,Jeremie Leblanc,Christine Dupuis,Gabrielle Shaw,Marc-Andre Cormier,Holly Blaquiere,Isabelle Cormier et Josee Leblanc.

July 2006

Club president Chuck Collins (left) presents a check to Bill Murray, a representative of the Shediac Bay Watershed Association in the amount of $20,000.

 

January 2005

David Dunn, (left) President, Shediac Rotary Club, presents Michel Leger, District Governor of Rotary for Shediac District,  with a $3000 donation.  The contribution will go towards the “Tsunami Relief Fund” and is in addition to funds individually donated personally by club members.

 

November 2004

David Dunn, (right) President, Shediac Rotary Club, presents Barbara A. Tait, 1st Vice Chair, Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation with a $1000 donation on behalf of the club. The contribution will go towards the “Technology for Urology” Campaign, for new critical and updated components for the Urology Department at The Moncton Hospital.

 

October 2004
